Meet Jolene Harrelson, Marriage and Family Therapist

Compassionate Therapy to Help You Build Connection, Healing, and Joy

Welcome! I’m Jolene Harrelson, a Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate in the State of Colorado (supervised by Robyn Flores) passionate about guiding individuals and couples through life’s complexities and relationship challenges. My approach is warm, non-judgmental, and client-centered, and I believe in the power of therapy to help you find clarity, resilience, and fulfillment.

With years of experience, I specialize in helping clients manage relationship issues, life transitions, intimacy concerns, and emotional wellness. I use evidence-based methods and an attachment-focused, systemic approach to treat the whole person, not just the symptoms. Together, we’ll dive into the root causes of your challenges, establish healthy boundaries, and uncover patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Whether you’re experiencing a crisis, recovering from trauma, or simply looking to grow, I’m here to support you every step of the way.

My Approach

Each person’s journey is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs. I integrate a range of therapeutic methods, including Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based practices to promote healing and positive change. My goal is to create a safe space where you feel seen, heard, and empowered to make meaningful shifts in your life and relationships.

Areas of Focus

I work with individuals, couples, and families on issues such as:

  • Relationship dynamics: Improving communication, deepening intimacy, rebuilding trust

  • Life transitions: Navigating changes like marriage, parenthood, or career shifts

  • Trauma recovery: Healing from past trauma, betrayal, or loss

  • Sex therapy: Addressing concerns around sexual health, functioning, and exploration

  • Anxiety and depression: Managing stress and finding peace

Your Journey Starts Here

I know reaching out for support can feel daunting, but taking this first step is a courageous move toward creating the life you want. I invite you to explore your experiences, uncover your strengths, and work toward a life filled with connection and purpose. If you’re ready to begin, I’m here to help guide your journey with empathy, expertise, and dedication.

Let’s take the next step together. You deserve a fulfilling life and healthy relationships, and I’d be honored to support you along the way.

I look forward to meeting you.
